To the east you can look down towards Eastbourne and to the west we had the sun sparkling on the sea and the Beachy Head lighthouse. We didn't walk too far except to visit the little monument erected as a tribute to the 110.000 aircrew of the Royal Air Force Bomber Command in World War II.
